Please check out our Career Program page for more information about these programs.   Financial Workshops Beginning in October, The Women’s Center will offer FREE financial education workshops on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Workshops will be presented by financial professionals in the community and vary by topic every month.  Join us for the following upcoming workshops:  October 13th -Managing your Credit and Debt November 10th-Finances After Job Loss January 12th-Sticking to a Budget that Works These workshops are free and open to women and men. All workshops are held at The Women’s Center. Space is limited, call 919-968-4610 to register or email the program director for more information. Please check back in the near future for updated information about these workshops. Legal Workshops Third Thursday Legal Workshops The Women’s Center will continue to offer family law workshops on the third Thursday of each month in 2012. Please see the attached flyer for more detailed information. Workshop topics rotate month-to-month, providing information on the legal aspects of separation & divorce and other issues in family law. Separation and Divorce Support Group The Women’s Center regularly offers a support group for women going through separation or divorce. Please email the program director or call us at 919-968-4610 for more information on our next group. Important Registration Information For events that require pre-registration, please register at least one week prior to the workshop's or group's start date to ensure that there is still space available. Programs are open to women and men unless otherwise noted. Pre-payment is required for all fee-for-service workshops. Full and partial scholarships are available.
