CALL FOR ENTRIES:
North Carolina Women Artists Encouraged to Submit Works for 21st Annual
Through Women's Eyes, By Women's Hands

CHAPEL HILL, NC (1 OCTOBER 2004) -- The Women’s Center announces a call for entries to its 21st annual juried art show and sale, Through Women’s Eyes, By Women’s Hands. The event, the largest show of its kind in the Southeast, will be held February 18-27, 2005, at the Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel. The deadline for submissions is December 10. The art show is open only to artists residing in North Carolina.

The jurors for this year’s exhibit are Beth Grabowski, a professor in printmaking at UNC-Chapel Hill; and John Craven Bloedorn, co-owner of Craven Allen Gallery/House of Frames. In addition to selecting pieces for inclusion, they will award prizes to exemplary artists. Interested artists should visit www.womenspace.org for information on participating.
