ExhibitorsThrough Women's Eyes, By Women's Hands is a celebration of the vision and voice of women artists. The 2004 show received more than 650 submissions and of those 206 from 170 artists were accepted into the show. The jurors for the 2005 exhibit are Beth Grabowski, professor of art at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and John Craven Bloedorn, co-owner of Craven Allen Gallery/House of Frames. In addition to selecting pieces for inclusion, they will award prizes to exemplary artists. "The number of applicants and the quality of the art work exhibited are on par with any art show in the region," says former Juror Moreton Neal.
