tea with lee
If you purchased a ticket to the Art Show Luncheon for February
27th, you are invited to use that ticket to attend Tea with
Lee, from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, April 21st 2004 at the Sheraton
Chapel Hill Hotel.
Our keynote speaker and guest of honor at this event is the
award-winning author Lee Smith. Lee is the author of nine novels
as well as three collections of stories. Her latest novel, The
Last Girls is published by Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill. A
retired professor of English at NC state University, she has
received many honors including an Academy Award in Fiction from
the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 1999.
Tea with Lee will also feature craft sales by local crafts
artists and a Raffle Drawing for prizes valued at over $3,000
including a beautiful David Yurman Bracelet, and a $500 Northgate
shopping Spree. Tickets can be purchased at the event.

you can donate your ticket as a contribution to The Women’s
